A group of adrenaline junked up people whose idea of a good time is launching themselves in various ways behind a boat and on a cable.
The season will be hotting up very soon and we will start running regular sessions out on the water, trips to Wakestock and stand at the BUCS student nationals in June! This is an epic event that speaks of epic tales, a week camping out under the stars at Sheffield Cable with unis from all across the UK, with wakeboarding on cable and boat at one’s leisure for a whole week.
Also leading up the student nationals, is a series of competitions called Uniwake PIG, where unis battle it out on the water at different cables round the UK and are pushed to try new tricks (often resulting in success) just for sheer pride and love of the sport!
As a group of socialites, we hold regular socials weekly on a monday at The Waterloo Inn at 8:30, so come down and meet us and see what we’re about : )
And we’ve recently joined forces with the Trampolining Club on Wednesdays 8–10pm and Sundays 2–5pm at Maes Glas to practice what we should be doing on the water!
