Hello Guys and Girls,

By now, most of you should have been to 2 sessions, so it would be really good if you could become a member this week.

Membership is £15 for the year, or £30 if you purchase a rash vest at the same time (saving £3!) Please bring cash or cheques made payable to Bangor Students' Union and write your name on the back of the cheque. Also bring a passport sized picture for your membership card. I will bring forms that you can fill out with all your details.

Remember you need to have a vaild AU card with you when you fill out the form (these are £10 from SU reception) Also if you have a BCU or WCA number i'll need that too.

See you Thursday

Dizzy

Thursday 12th AU Night Posted by chris 10/11/2006
11:54:46 AM

Hey Guys,

After the pool session this week we are aiming to head to AU night in Academi (or Main Bar as it should rightly be known). AU nights are always a great night out as the proceeds from the door go to help out Sports clubs in the AU and loads of people came to the canoe polo AU night a few weeks ago. As always there is a theme, and this week it is a pyjama party! So feel free to get changed ready when we leave the pool!

See you on Thursday,

Chris (Appologies if I am treading on Jo's ground here, but we have only just got a website up...)

British University League Posted by chris 10/10/2006
8:29:09 PM

Hi Guys,

This year FOA are hosting a university league, which will comprise of 6 weekends away in Liverpool. More details can be found here.
Training sessions will be run on the Saturday for any members who want to come along and recieve top quality coaching and hopefully the opportunity to play some friendly matches, and complete qualifications, such as star tests and refs courses. On the Sunday the competition will be run with our stronger members competing for position in the league.

This is a great opportunity for everyone in the club whether you are keen to compete or just train on a full size pitch! The cost per person per weekend away is £15 and there will be the opportunity for a night out in Liverpool whilst we are there. Accomodation will be included but very basic - might even just be floor space in the local scout hut, so you will need to bring a sleeping bag and mat.

Please let me know if you are interested, either in this forum, or in person. We will talk about it in more detail on the bus. If you are keen to compete then ideally you need to be able to make all six of the fixtures as your name will be entered on the team, however if you are just interested in the training and night out then you are welcome to come to as many of the fixtures as you like.

The dates of the fixtures are:

21st/22nd October 2006
18th/19th November 2006
9th/10th December 2006

20th/21st January 2007
17th/18th February 2007
17th/18th March 2007

Chris
