Housing Fortnight: 16–27 January

Last year we ran our very first housing fortnight in Bangor with huge success, so it is no surprise that this year it is back, bigger and better than the one before. More information will be available nearer the time, but we would encourage all those who will be looking for houses for the next academic year to wait until after Housing Fortnight before you do so. We will be holding several sessions throughout the fortnight, where not only can you win £100 (an average week’s rent and food) but you will find out about the Housing List, what to look for in a house, where to look and have the opportunity to get your questions answered by our housing experts and students who have been there and done it before.

There will be three sessions, on Monday 16, Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 January. All sessions will be run exactly the same so you only need to attend one. By attending one of the sessions you will have the chance to win £100 (an average week’s rent) the sessions will take place in Main Arts Lecture Theatre (MALT) at 6.30pm.

Pythefnos Tai: 16–27 Ionawr

Y llynedd fe wnaethom gynnal ein Pythefnos Tai cyntaf ym Mangor ac roedd yn llwyddiant mawr, felly nid yw’n syndod ei fod yn ôl eleni eto, yn fwy a gwell nac o’r blaen. Bydd mwy o wybodaeth ar gael yn agosach i’r amser, ond rydym yn annog y rhai ohonoch fydd yn chwilio am dŷ ar gyfer y flwyddyn academaidd nesaf i aros tan ar ôl y Penwythnos Tai i wneud hynny. Byddwn yn cynnal amryw o sesiynau tros y pythefnos, lle gallwch nid yn unig ennill £100 (rhent a bwyd am wythnos gyffredin), gallwch gael gwybod am y Rhestr Tai, beth i chwilio amdano mewn tŷ, lle i chwilio a chael y cyfle hefyd i gael atebion i’ch cwestiynau gan ein harbenigwr tai a chan fyfyrwyr sydd wedi bod trwy hyn o’r blaen.

Bydd yna 3 sesiwn, ar yr 16, 18 ac 19 Ionawr, i gyd ym Mhrif Ddarlithfa’r Celfyddydau (MALT) am 6.30pm. Bydd yr holl sesiynau'r un fath felly dim ond un ohonynt bydd angen i chi ei mynychu. Drwy fynychu un o’r sesiynau fe gewch chi’r cyfle i ennill £100 (rhent wythnos ar gyfartaledd).
