BU Judo Club

Welcome to Bangor University Judo Club.

A vibrant and active club, BU Judo train three times a week and compete in various competitions throughout the year. We cater for all levels, from complete novice to dan grade, under the excellent tutelage of 5th Dan Steve Clarke. Steve has personally overseen the progression of many judoka (judo player) from white belt through to black belt, with some even going on to compete internationally!

There will be a dan grading at Bangor University Judo Club 7pm, Tuesday 26th October 2010, primarily for 1st Kyus.

We also convene for a couple of jars after each training session at Rascal's Bar in upper Bangor. We find that this is a great way to wind down after an exhausting session!

It is the aim of the Judo club to help any judoka achieve either coaching or refereeing qualifications
