If Rathbone is your chosen hall I am looking forward to seeing you soon. <P>Going to University is a very strange and daunting experience. The Junior Common Room (JCR) committeee are here to make your life easier. The JCR are a group of elected students whose job it is to look after your welfare and entertainment needs in Rathbone. The JCR provide many services in Rathbone such as the annual Christmas Ball, trips to places like Dublin and papers, TVs and videos within the hall. To enable us to put on these events we charge a fee of Ł25.00 to each student. This must be paid in advance of your arrival (cheques payable to "Rathbone JCR"). Please send cheques to "Mrs H. Jones, Gartherwen, College Road, Bangor, Gwynedd, LL57 2DF" <P>This web site is designed to help you overcome some of the worries you may have, by explaining a little about University life. It will also become a reference tool throughout your time in Rathbone.
