BEDS – Not just for Actors…

WHAT do we do…? We are a theatre society who perform 5–6 student-written or published plays each year. We don’t just put on plays either! We run community projects, take part in festivals and record radio plays too!

WHO can get involved…? No matter what experience you have you can get involved in anything from Acting and Directing to Lighting and Costume. We can train you up in anything you would like to learn. And we very much welcome new skills, such as Music or Dance.

WHY...? We have fun while putting on a variety of good plays. With regular socials and a huge selection of exciting projects you’ll never have a boring week.

HOW can I get involved…? If you want to Act then all you need to do is turn up to one of our open auditions. If production/directing is more your thing, then just turn up to one of our meetings and we’'ll have a chat and find a project for you to get involved with.

WHEN…? We meet at 7pm, every Wednesday night, in John Phillips Hall.

COST…? It’s a mere £5 for the entire year.
