Hi everyone,
There will be a walk this Saturday to Tryfan/Glyders. It’s the last walk organised by the current committee! We will then have the AGM in the evening at 6:30 in the lecture room in main arts. To clarify yesterday’s email, we will have a vote at the agm to decide if the roles will change (ie. Adding the 7th role. Etc). If there is a majority vote of agreement then the roles will be changed, if not they remain as they are in the constitution with the current 6 roles. At the AGM you will have the opportunity to ask questions to the candidates and then vote in the next committee. If anybody would like to nominate themselves for any of the roles please let us know. The new Captain will decide which pub we go to for drinks afterwards!
Also on Tuesday it’s the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Charity Boys v Girls basketball game. It would be great if everybody went to show support and then we can go to the tap for the social as usual. https://www.facebook.com/events/106877776102697/

Hello all,
I have the pleasure of letting you know that the UMWC AGM will be held on the 17th of March and you are all welcome. The AGM will start at 6:30pm and is in lecture room 4 in main arts. The roles are as follows: Club Captain, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice Captain, Meets & Gear Officer, Safety Officer, Social Secretary. More details to follow when we’ve voted in the exact role descriptions tonight. If anyone wishes to nominate themselves for a position then please let us know and we will put you in the running for it. As a reminder we will be having our usual social tonight at 8pm in the Tap and Spile so please come and join us. For those of you on the away trip this weekend I hope it was successful and you got some good walking in the Beacons done. Phil
